Interiors of hotels. Development trends.
Along with the quality of service, a variety of additional services and other factors, the hotel’s stardom also affects the interior decoration of rooms and common areas. Therefore, without exception, all hotels are very careful in choosing the design of rooms, halls, conference rooms and even toilets.
Interior in hotels
For example, hotel chains strictly ensure that in each of their hotels, in every corner of the world, all rooms are of the same standard. Colors, coatings, furniture, textiles – everything will correspond to the style chosen once during creation.
As a rule, the interior design in the entire hotel corresponds to the general concept and is made in the same style. But another concept is also a success, when each number or part of the room stock is made in its unique style. So, moving from one part of the hotel to another, you seem to fall into another world with its unique atmosphere.
Currently, there are a number of trends that are becoming increasingly popular:
Emphasis on environmental friendliness. To create a feeling of closeness to nature, hotels use natural eco-friendly materials in the interior, establish aquariums, terrariums or cages with birds and animals, plant trees and rooms in common areas.
Advanced technology and high-tech. Very often, business people stay in hotels who need to stay in touch, even if they come on holiday. Hotels are trying to fully meet these needs, not only installing free wi-fi, but also providing comfortable jobs, placing a laptop or tablet with the Internet in free access at the reception, providing copying and scanning services and providing other amenities needed by business people.
Expansion of functions. To increase the level of comfort, hotels expand the possibilities of places that previously were not remarkable. Bathrooms offer mini spas with jacuzzi and hydromassage; restaurants at hotels transform so that they become a city landmark; in the lobbies create a working space for work, negotiation, business meetings.
As practice shows, for clients of hotels this or that style of interior is not the deciding factor. The decisive role is usually played by the remoteness of the hotel, the price per room, the availability of additional service. Nevertheless, the unique style of the interior can be the highlight of the hotel, for which tourists will come from all over the world.
